Location Requirements
Where and how you can legally grow cannabis in Ohio.
Primary Residence
Cannabis cultivation can only take place at your primary residence. Plants must be grown within a secured area on the property grounds.
Secured & Enclosed
Plants must be in a secured closet, room, greenhouse, or other enclosed area that prevents access by individuals under 21.
Not Visible from Public
Plants must not be visible by normal unaided vision from a public space. Indoor growing is the easiest way to comply.
